Hi, I’m Brenda. I am a Registered Nurse (RN) and have worked in various healthcare setting including critical care, emergency, home care, and operating room for over 30 years.  Also a yoga instructor, I teach yoga in the studio, at the hospital and even on the beach.

I was first introduced to meditation in high school back in the late 1970s and was intrigued.  Shortly after, my life went fast forward, up, down and around. I practiced yoga on and off over the years and finally started a regular yoga practice in 2010.

In 2015-2016, I enrolled in a yoga teacher training at the Center for Health and Healing and am now a certified 200 RYT yoga teacher. I teach as often as I can to anyone who wants to learn. I believe yoga can be practiced by anyone no matter their age, size, health or dis-ease. It is a practice that is available when the student is ready and open. I focus on alignment in asana practice using my knowledge of anatomy and physiology. I incorporate philosophy, meditation and self-care to spark a desire for wellness and a quest for a purposeful life.
